This is an Old Cashe Sex Apron from the Kirdi People of Northern Cameroon. This is of the most unique Cache-Sex or Modesty panels worn by the Kirdi girls of Cameroon and it is just an iron triangle shaped apron with a woven band to hold it in place.This modesty panel consists of densely arranged parallel slats made of forged iron and held together with iron clamps.The apron hangs with an iron bow with central ring on a belt made into a triangle reinforced with iron rings, and has a woven band attached. This modesty panel is old has patina from age. This is Museum quality and hard to find. This a great display piece for your home.
