This is a fabulous old Silver Plated Nepalese Pendant that has a Copper Conch Shell Stamp on the bottom. The Conch shell in considered one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols’ in Tibetan Buddhism. The fifth symbol is the Conch shell or Sankha. The conch shell is a much-respected object in Tibetan culture. It is said to ward off evil, and is believed to be a symbol of power and authority. The Conch shell is an emblem that proclaims the truth and teaching of Buddha. This is a rare silver Nepal stamp pendant that would be so unique in all your creative jewelry designs. I purchased these 25 years ago and used them in my jewelry designs. It has a large enough bale so you could put leather or cord through it.
