This is a pair of Old Beautiful Beaded Leg Anklets from the Zulu Tribe of South Africa. This design is made out of tiny glass beads identified as a Zulu anklet known as Idavati. The Zulu style is recognized by the use of bands of different colors of beads alternating with white beads. Beaded anklets such as this are worn in pairs. They are mainly used by young bride during the wedding ceremony symbolizes her virgin status. These Anklets would be beautiful framed and displayed in your home or added to your collection.
