This is a beautifully carved wood and coconut Ladle, originating from the Ifugao tribe of Northern Luzon in the Philippines. This Ladle is a fine old example of Ifugao tribal art and over the years it has developed a smooth, shiny and rich patina from daily use. The Ifugao people are famous for their wood carvings and one of the most sought after and collected forms of their art are the old Ladle & spoons, Collected in the field.
