This is an Old Toposa Tribal Hammered Copper Pendant from the 1980's and worn by both Men and Women from the South Easter Border of Southern Sudan. The Toposa are one of the biggest tribal groups living in this area. The Toposa culture is orally transmitted through songs, dance, music, poems and folklore. This rare pendant has a tattooed design and is in the shape of a shield and could be worn as a breastplate as well. A truly unique piece of rare Toposa Art that would compliment your collection or home.
