This is a fabulous old Decorative Drum from the Siassi (Umboi) Island of Papua New6 Guinea. The decorative style reveals the influence of the Siassi islands and the North Coast of New Guinea. The tall, hourglass-shaped body of the single-headed drum is carved in brown, hard wood. Elegant figurative arched handles on the sides, all made from a single piece of wood. This drum is old and it has no skin. This is a magnificent old drum in color, design and style and would be a wonderful addition to your collection or to your home.
