This is a unique vintage Ramu Tribal Hunting Charm. This wooden figure comes from the Ramu River in the Madang Province of New Guinea. Small figures like this one were kept in bilums and used by men during hunting and for magic purposes also protecting the owner. The figure has a pierced septum and the surface is encrusted and there is a break to the lower section of the right leg.
A wonderful item to adorn your home or add to your collection.
