This is a fabulous large Old and Unusual Hand Carved 2 Face Carved Wood Ceremonial Stool from the Washkuk Tribal People of the Kwoma Tribe of Washkuk Hills, a range of low mountains on the north side of the Sepik in Papua New Guinea. Stools of this type were only used by high-ranking tribal officials; most likely an orator or someone affiliated with the village council.
