Painted wooden Paddles such as this are carried by the Tolai people during dances and ceremonial performances. The dance wand form one part of the Tolai ceremonial paraphernalia that is collectively known as Pokopoko. This Tolai Dance Paddle is a wonderful part of the Oceanic culture and would compliment your collection or home.
