This is a wonderful vintage and very unusual Ceremonial Carved Wood from the Middle Sepik River Region of Papua New Guinea. What makes this so unusual is the figure with a Carved Crocodile Tail Pattern going done the head constructing the nose.This would have been an important ceremonial object kept in the mens house. This would be a lovely addition to your home or collection.
