This is a lovely Beaded Dress Ornament or Panel made by the Nomadic Kuchi Women. Woven colorful glass seed beads attached to cloth or plastic or even a cardboard background are overlaid by a second layer with twisted acrylic threads and beaded tassels. These beaded panels are considered a design element used in their clothing and are either pinned or sewn on a garment or on to another textile. The bright yellow background is a favorite color among the tribes of Central Asia. Fringes of white beads were strategically placed to ward off the evil eye. A dark-red cotton lining has been added, making it easy to affix the panel wherever desired and lending support. The bead work shows the artisanship of this nomadic tribe of women. The beaded panels would be beautiful framed and hung on a wall or used in your home decor or collection.
