This is a wonderful Carved Wood Unique Male Square Lobi Fetish Statue from Burkina Faso. Bateba or Bouthiba are considered alive and sacred beings. Fetish dolls are used as a link between the visible and invisible world. This statue would be used for rituals and ceremonies.
