This is a Old Weathered Wood Hand Hewn Java Offering Bowl. This rustic wood bowl was fashioned by hand from a single piece of teak wood and comes from the Cirebon area of Northern Java. It would have been used to offer food or fruit to guests. The old growth teak from which this bowl was made is heavy and dense, and exhibits a beautiful distressed grain look.
