This is a wonderful N'tomo Brass Hammered and Wood Horned Mask from the Bamana Tribe of Mali. This Bamana mask is carved out of a single piece wood surmounted by 7 wood horns. N'tomo masks serve to protect young boys during their first initiation cycle before circumcision. This horned mask would have been worn as a face mask. This would be a wonderful addition to your collection or home.
