I LOVE IT. This product is unique and looks like an antique, even - sans rust. I got it to hold my daily medications and none of the pills I put in there slipped out when I held it upside down and shook it. The gold rims of the shell do not meet completely when it's closed but unless you're keeping something the size of about a centimeter in there, it will not slip out. I would probably find something else for jewelry for that reason. I can easily see a dainty gold chain slipping out of it. The metal used for the clasp is soft so you can tighten it or loosen it at will. That may be a problem in the future, as flexing metal can become weaker over time. However, at this price point, you really could easily replace it. The shipping was FAST, so much faster than any other product I've purchased on Etsy. I think i may purchase more!
