The legend behind these dolls is that children use them as confidants. They tell the dolls their worries. then they are placed under the child's pillow before they go to sleep where the dolls do their magic to get children out of their worries, so when children wake up in the next morning they are free of their worries

I got my first worry dolls when I lived in Nicaragua many years ago I saw these advertised and had to have them There are some out there in little bags that are fine but the ones in the little painted boxes are the best I’m ordering them as stocking stuffers for Christmas
