These lovely Goat skinned stretched Spin Drums from Peru are fair trade made by local artisans. the goatskin is tanned in the sun until it cures and is stretched to it's limit. then it is stretched over wood and tied by hand. Expert local painters then carefully design the surface head. A single coat of varnish is applied over the design for protection. This would be a wonderful gift to the musician in the family or a friend.
