These beaded discs has been salvaged from a garment or other piece, called "Gul i peron", which means "dress flower", patches like this one are used by the Kuchi and other Nomadic people as a design element in their clothing. It might be sewn on to a dress or vest or on to another textile. There is cardboard between several layers of fabric which gives support to the bead work. These beaded discs are made by hand, in traditional designs and colors. This Kuchi bag is so unique, because it has beaded discs on both sides with a zipper in the middle and a shoulder strap with beading on it. This makes a fabulous evening bag or just a fun unique purse with magnificent Kuchi Bead Work.
