Love the rainstick but not a big fan of the finishing. There are spines still sticking out which catch on everything and make it a hazard for my little one. He loves it but has to watch me from a distance. I'm scared to nail the protruding spines flush as I do not want to cause a split. It does feel more fragile than my last one when pressure is applied so we are very gentle with it. Also, there is no finish on this rainstick and we noticed it gives off dust when bumped. HOWEVER it did arrive in time for xmas as planned on short notice.
