This is an Old Bronze Fertility Ring from the Lobi People of Burkina Faso. This ring is created by using the "Lost Wax" technique, and these rings have become increasingly more difficult to find. African brass rings are cast similarly to beads, from a manipulated wax template, set within a mold, and then smelted brass would then be filtered into the mold. African Brass rings can also be used as pendants and make up some of the most interesting jewelry. A wonderful ring to add to your collection.
