This is a beautiful Strand of Yellow and Green African Millefiori , Mosaic or Trade Beads. Millefiori literally means "a thousand flowers". These beads originated in Venice, were traded with the African's and then imported to the United States in the 1960's. These beads if not referred to by mosaics, they are all called trade beads. These beads are fabulous used in jewelry, necklaces and bracelets, or just worn as a simple strand.
