This is a wonderful Old Vintage Hand Tooled Leather Fold Over Round Neck Purse from the Mossi and Fulani People of Burkina Faso. This neck purse is made out of leather and folds over to fasten at the front.The exterior is painted using natural paint or dyes to create a unique geometric design. They were worn around the neck, under their cloth or attached to a young men's dance costume. This would be wonderful addition to your home or collection.
