This is a wonderful Square Woven Rattan Sieve Basket called a "Hay du" Basket used in Collecting Snails from the River from the Ifugao people of the Luzon Cordillera Range of the Philippines. Traps and sieves helped in catching fish, shellfish, snails and insects.
