This is a wonderful African Gourd Bark Box Set of 3 with Lids from the Tribal People of Bamana. Theses boxes i are constructed out of bark wrapped around the middle section and a gourd stitched to the top and bottom. These boxes were used for storage and for many practical purposes. Gourds play an important role in the lives of tribal people, from music to food storage, serving and decoration. This would be a beautiful addition to your collection or home.
