This is a beautiful Vintage Tall Beaded Ceremonial Palm Wine Vessel on a Stand. These jars were status symbols reserved for the use of the Fons or rulers of one of the several Bamileke (Bamoum) kingdoms of the Cameron Grasslands and were part of the royal regalia displayed and used on ceremonial occasions. The entire piece was then tightly wrapped in hand woven cloth and fully beaded. This is wonderful item to add to your collection or home.
Shows age, some torn fabric on bottom, but in good condition.
