The Kisii Tribe is from Kenya and are a community of Bantu people who inhabit two counties Nyamira in Nyanza Province, Western Kenya. Mogusii is culturally identified as their founder and patriarch. The shield was used as a sign of strength and only would have been held by the tribal leaders. This very unique shield would be a wonderful adittion to your home and collection.
