This is a Pair of Old Beautiful 3 Row White and Blue Beaded Anklets with a Design in Both the Middle that comes from the Zulu Tribe of South Africa. This design is made out of tiny glass beads identified as a Zulu anklet known as Idavati. The Zulu style is recognized by the use of bands of different colors of beads alternating with white beads and by the technique used. Beaded anklets such as this are worn in pairs. They are mainly used by young bride during the wedding ceremony to symbolize her virgin status. This is a true collectors item and hard to find a matched pair.
