This is a rare Giraffe Hide water bucket, from the Boran People of Kenya, in East Africa, which have migrated from Southern Ethiopia. Like other ethnic groups in the Horn of Africa and East Africa, Borana Oromo people regionally developed social stratification consisting of four hierarchical strata.
This rare and unusual piece would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
